Tazacorte

Tazacorte is a Canary town located in the west side of La Palma island. It has 6,500 inhabitants and has an area of 12 squared kilometres

Due to its excellent geological location and thanks to the large number of daylight hoursTazacorte is practically covered with a carpet of banana-production, and one said to be the best bananas of the Canary Islands.

Very close to the Tazacorte Villa, at the opening ravine of Las Angustias, you can find the neighbourhood El Puerto with a very large black sand beach which goes as far as the fishing port, here we can find some restaurants and small bars in which we will be able to savour delicious fish and seafood dishes. Tazacorte has an annual average temperature between 19 and 25 degrees and one unusual figure of 3,500 hours of daylight. It is a town in where the colour green predominates of its bananas cultivation and combined with the blue of the Atlantic and the orange of its sunsets.
